HELLO ALL CACTUS FRIENDS!!!

Tomorrow will break old year...We want to start together with new year a new section At our home. What will work here, in our cactus hole..?. Every month we will published some news about our hobby-work.Apologize our sily english with mistakes, please. Perhaps everybody will understand!

Cactus plants do not grow in our glasshouse and balcony-glasshouse. Many plants are just in a cellar (cave).But in workroom(in past we wanted with Nada use these room like bedroom...)everything grows maximal.There are many seedlings in our seed-metering device. Grafting on Selenicereus spec. stocks and seedlings = the mainly thing, that we have been doing now.

Look, how the small minim seedling grow:

We use normally 5x5cm pots.The base is acid soil. Genus Uebelmannia demand this soil with admixture of white sand. The surface of the soil we powder also with soft-white sand.After some weeks you will have some problems with alga, but older seedling resist against this one. We use some growth hormones and spray against some insect, which taste these rare seedlings...
